Welcome to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Money Museum! See how the Bank processes millions of dollars in currency each day, lift a real gold bar, view the historic Harry S. Truman coin collection and enjoy interactive exhibits while learning about the U.S. economy.


The Money Museum is closed today, June 11. Visit tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Regular Hours

Monday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Last entry at 3:30 p.m.

Adjusted Hours

9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Last entry at 11:30 a.m.

Limited parking is available in our visitor lot.

  • It can only be accessed from the west side of the building.
  • Take Broadway to W 29th St. or 31st St. to Wyandotte.

No parking or vehicular access will be available on the following days.

  • June: 12, 24, 25, 26
  • July: 3, 9, 10

Pedestrian access is permitted on Memorial Dr. and Wyandotte St.

  • Guests can take the streetcar to the WWI Museum & Memorial stop at 27th and Main.

What to Expect

The Money Museum is a free, walk-in and self-guided experience. Tickets are not required.
