Limited parking is available in our visitor lot during Museum open hours.

  • It can only be accessed from the west side of the building.
  • Take Broadway to W 29th Street or 31st Street to Wyandotte.

Pedestrian access is permitted on Memorial Dr. and Wyandotte St.

  • Guests can take the streetcar to the WWI Museum & Memorial stop at 27th and Main.

Know before you go:

The Money Museum is a free, walk-in and self-guided experience. Tickets are not required.

  • All visitors must go through airport-style security screening at the entrance. All bags must fit through the x-ray machines.
  • All visitors 18 and over must have a valid form of government issued ID. This includes American divers licenses or international passports.
  • Weapons, including pocketknives and pepper spray, are not allowed in the Museum.
  • Wagons, non-mobility scooters, Segways, hoverboards, skateboards and rollerblades are not permitted inside the Museum.
  • Food and drinks cannot be consumed in the Museum. All food and beverages must remain stored. Closed containers of water are allowed.
  • The Museum is a smoke-free area. Tobacco products as well as vapor and e-cigarettes are not permitted.

What to expect:

  • Public restrooms and water fountains are available.
  • There are no vending machines or food services for Museum visitors.
  • All exhibits are open, including our feature exhibit “Images of Liberty: Commemoration and the Art of Currency.”
  • Soccer themed bags of shredded money are free for each visitor.
