This workshop will explore both financial literacy and social studies concepts, each spanning 1.5 days of instruction. First, discover how to equip students with essential money management skills through engaging hands-on activities and real-world examples. Also, learn ways financial literacy can impact students’ future choices, career paths, and long-term goals. Then, experience America 250 professional learning focused on the civic and economic foundations of American democracy. Using high-quality, inquiry-based resources, teachers will examine civic responsibility, the role of government, and how economic decision-making shapes communities and public policy. Participants will leave with classroom-ready lessons and activities aligned to standards that help students connect America’s past, present, and future.
