Learn about eight community and economic development projects from organizations working on the frontlines in our communities helping low- and moderate-income populations directly and indirectly affected by COVID-19 in the Nebraska market at Investment Connection - Response to COVID-19.

During Investment Connection - Response to COVID-19, diverse community and economic development proposals that may be eligible under the Community Reinvestment Act will be presented to potential funders.  The lending and investment opportunities presented will be from organizations working on the frontlines in our communities helping low- and moderate-income populations directly and indirectly affected by COVID-19 exclusively in the Nebraska market.  A wide range of monetary requests are anticipated and geographic target areas may range from single community programs to statewide efforts.

 Typical proposals address:

  • Emergency Housing Assistance
  • Community Services and Facilities, including food pantries, health services, and children’s services
  • Small business development / microlending
  • Workforce development / Economic development
  • Digital Inclusion

Presenters have seven minutes to share information about their organization and proposal, followed by three minutes of questions from funders. This is an efficient way to learn about new and existing organizations and opportunities in community and economic development.
