Edmond Johnson was reappointed chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Board of Directors on January 1, 2022 and has served on the head office board since 2019. He previously served on the Denver Branch Board of Directors since 2015.

As president and chief executive officer of Premier Manufacturing, Inc., Mr. Johnson has applied his education and career experience to grow Premier Manufacturing Inc. to one of the largest, third tier, contract manufacturing operations in Colorado. Premier Manufacturing Inc. was recognized as one of the fastest growing companies by Colorado Biz Magazine. Mr. Johnson is also president and chief executive officer of ENFusion, a renewable energy company.

Before founding Premier Manufacturing Inc., Mr. Johnson held various management and middle management positions in manufacturing operations and supply chain management with IBM, AST Computers, US Robotics, 3COM and Maxtor Corporation. Mr. Johnson also is a graduate of the Ford Motor Company, Minority Dealership Training Program.

Mr. Johnson is very involved in the community supporting various scholarship funds and charity programs. He is also a member of the board of directors for DreamSpring and serves on the Advisory Board for the Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Mr. Johnson holds an MBA in marketing from Clark Atlanta University.
