Richard Lewis joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Denver Branch Board of Directors in January 2012 and has been the branch chair since 2017. He is the president and CEO of RTL Networks, Inc., which is an IT sales and services company delivering hardware globally and services to multiple regions throughout the country. RTL Networks also has an energy division focused on high voltage power distribution and transmissions systems and services.
He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and William and Mary’s MBA program. Additionally, he has a Masters degree in Computer Systems Security and more than 25 years of military and corporate leadership experience. He received his honorable discharge from the U. S. Air Force at the rank of captain after serving his country in Desert Storm/Operation Southern Watch and various domestic and international assignments.
Mr. Lewis has served in senior management positions for Cisco Systems, Qwest and Avaya, where he was responsible developing and executing strategic plans and delivering network consulting services to Fortune 500 and national service providers. As president and CEO of RTL Networks, he uses that experience to set national corporate objectives; to implement the required framework to reach and maintain utilization and profitability goals; and to identify, develop, close and deliver complex consulting engagements and network infrastructure hardware resell opportunities.
Mr. Lewis is the former chairman for the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce and a member of the board of directors for the Mile High United Way. He is a vigilant advocate of health, education and the community, providing his time, energy, and leadership to local and national organizations.
