Judy Petersen was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Development Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2017. Petersen is the executive director at Central Nebraska Economic Development District (CNEDD) in Atkinson, Neb. The Central Nebraska Economic Development District provides community, business and housing programs and services to 17 counties.
Petersen joined CNEDD in 2014. Prior to her role at CNEDD, she served as the executive director of the Central Nebraska Housing Developers organization for eight years. She is highly regarded for her understanding of rural economic development with a specific specialty in rural housing.
