John Latenser was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Economic Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2014.  Latenser has been the owner of Neff Packaging Systems, headquartered in Kansas City, Kan., since 1982.  Neff Packaging Systems specializes in providing machinery and materials for industrial packaging nationwide, with a focus on the central Midwest states.    

Latenser serves as president and board member of the Fairfax Industrial Association, vice president and treasurer of the North East United Soccer Club, and board member of Bishop Miege High School Foundation. Latenser was a former board member of the Johnson County Catholic High School Regional Board from 2000 to 2008.

Latenser received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
