Bridgette Williams was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Economic Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2014. Williams currently serves as deputy director of the Heavy Constructors Association of Greater Kansas City (HCA). With more than 20 years of experience in the field of transportation, construction and economic development, Williams focuses on management/labor initiatives and governmental and community relations for the association. Prior to joining HCA, she served for more than 15 years as president of the Greater Kansas City AFL-CIO, the umbrella organization for labor unions in the Greater Kansas City area that represents more than 100,000 workers.
Williams currently chairs the board of the Economic Development Council of Kansas City and the Kansas City Workforce Board. Williams also has served on the board of several nonprofit organizations such as the Full Employment Council, The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Greater Kansas City.
Williams received an Executive Master in Business Administration from the Helzberg School of Business at Rockhurst University.
