Ashley Burt joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Denver Branch Board of Directors in 2015.  He is the president and CEO of The Gunnison Bank and Trust Company, a commercial bank located high in the central rocky mountains of Colorado, with a loan production office located in Denver.

He is a graduate of Western State Colorado University, with a BA in Business Administration. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Graduate School of Banking at the University of Washington with a leadership emphasis. Prior to his 24 years in banking, he was the Controller for a multi-state pizza franchise.

Mr. Burt has served in a variety of leadership roles and various areas of financial management for smaller firms prior to his banking career. He has been fortunate to be involved with a wide variety of organizations including the Australian National Ski Team as a mogul skier, The Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley as a director, Colorado’s CollegeInvest 529 Board as chairman, Colorado Division of Banking as a director, and Independent Bankers of Colorado as a director. Mr. Burt and his wife have two children.
