Alise Martiny was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Economic Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2019. She is business manager for the Kansas City Building and Construction Trades Council, the first woman elected to that position.
Martiny has worked in the construction industry for more than 37 years, including as a concrete finisher for her family’s firm, JJ Martiny Concrete Co. Inc.
Martiny has an Associate of Arts in labor studies from Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana.
