Adrienne Smith was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Development Advisory Council on January 1, 2020. Smith is the president and CEO of the New Mexico Caregivers Coalition, which advocates for and advances the professional development and workforce issues of the state’s direct caregivers.
She is a 2014 Aspen Institute Fellow and a 2015 Member of the Federal Reserve Bank Community Advisory Council, representing the Tenth District. She served on the boards of the Latin American Youth Center, the New Mexico Forum on Youth in Community and the National Youth Employment Coalition.
Smith has a bachelor’s in biology from Millsaps College and a master’s in public policy and international administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
