Submit a Proposal for Investment Connection
Thank you for your interest in Investment Connection. We're glad you're here! We want to help you share your organization's project with funders who are looking for ways to support their communities. This page explains who can apply, how to complete the form, and what happens after you submit.

The download includes the full instructions and the fillable proposal form.
Who Can Apply?
To take part, your organization must provide reviewed or audited financial statements. Send your most recent financials as a PDF with your proposal. Your proposal is not complete until we receive them. Only Federal Reserve staff will see your financials - funders will not.
What are reviewed or audited financials? A certified public accountant (CPA) usually checks that your financial records are accurate. An audit is more detailed than a review and gives a higher level of assurance.
Please note: We do not recommend getting reviewed or audited financials only to take part in this program. We know the process can take time and cost money. We also cannot guarantee that you will connect with funders or receive funding.
How to Complete the Form
The proposal form has detailed instructions, including which fields are required or optional, how some fields depend on your earlier answers, and character limits. Please read the instructions before you start and refer to them as you go.
How to Submit
Email these items to InvestConnect@kc.frb.org:
- Your completed proposal form (in PDF format)
- Your most recent reviewed or audited financials (in PDF format)
- Up to two extra files (in JPEG or PDF format, each under 8MB)
You can submit a proposal at any time.
What Happens Next?
- Review: We review your proposal. Once it is approved, funders can view it on the proposal site.
- Changes: An approved proposal cannot be edited. To make changes, submit a new proposal and ask us to remove the old one. We can update your contact person or contact information at any time. Just email us.
- One-year listing: Approved proposals stay active for one year. If your proposal is no longer current, tell us and we will remove it.
- Yearly check-in: Each year, we email your primary and secondary contacts to ask if the proposal is still current. If you do not respond, the proposal expires. If you confirm, we will renew it for another year.
- Renewals: A proposal can be renewed up to two times, for a total of three years. After that, it is removed from the funder list.
