Rollin Wood leads the Native Partnership for Housing, Inc. (NPH), a Native CDFI. Over the past 28 years, NPH has facilitated more than $80 million in home mortgage loans, provided home buyer education to more than 5,000 families and helped more than 700 families purchase homes.
Wood has served as NPH executive director since 2014. He has worked with the NPH board to form holding and construction company subsidiaries, and to guide NPH from being 98% dependent on grants for operational funds to being 51% self-sufficient. Prior to joining NPH, Wood owned Sierra Vista Resources, Inc. and was an executive in the broadcast industry. Wood is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and seeks to build upon Native Americans’ history of resilience and self-reliance. He serves on the boards of the Native CDFI Network and the National NeighborWorks Association.
Wood has business training in strategic planning, sales, human resources and management through the Belo Corporation and the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth: Building Successful Native-American Businesses. He completed the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education through NeighborWorks Achieving Excellence program.
