Dewey Jackson was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Development Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2022. Jackson is president of the Denver Area Labor Federation (DALF) of Denver, Colo. DALF is one of nearly 500 state and local labor councils of the AFL-CIO and works with local and national labor and community organizations around policies that support worker rights.
Jackson was a precinct committee person for House District 7 (2009), and a member of the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce (CBCC) Chamber Connect leadership program (2009). He is currently a licensed journeyman plumber (2011-current) and apprenticeship instructor (2016-current) for Denver Plumbers Local #3.
Jackson studied business administration at Regis University.
