Aubrey Abbott Patterson was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Development Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2019. Patterson is president and chief executive officer of the Hutchinson Community Foundation in Hutchinson, Kan. During her 14-year tenure, the foundation’s assets have more than tripled to $70 million. Since 1989, the foundation has returned grants to the community totaling more than $70 million.

Patterson is or has been a member of the boards of the Kansas Association of Community Foundations, K-State Alumni Association, Hutchinson Rotary Club, Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, City of Hutchinson Housing Commission and the K-State School of Leadership Studies.

Patterson has a Master of Arts in philanthropic studies with a certificate in nonprofit management from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
