Lilly Marks joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Board of Directors in 2015.  She previously served on the Denver Branch Board of Directors since 2013.

Ms. Marks serves as vice president for health affairs for the University of Colorado and Anschutz Medical Campus, which includes the University’s Schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, College of Nursing and Graduate School and the University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado.  Prior to her health campus leadership role, Ms. Marks spent two decades as both senior associate dean for finance and administration at the School Of Medicine and executive director of University Physicians, Inc., the 501(c)(3) faculty practice plan. 

Ms. Marks has served as chair of the board of directors of the University of Colorado Hospital and as a member of the UCHealth System and Children’s Hospital Colorado Board of Directors. She also served on the Advisory Board for Clinical Research of the National Institutes of Health.

Currently she is a board member of the Association of American Medical Colleges (chair), the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority, the Association of Academic Health Centers (AAHC past chair), the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, and the Rose Community Foundation. She is also a member of the AAMC Advisory Panel on Research.

In 2012, Ms. Marks received the Denver Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business Award.  She has been recognized by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce as one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Colorado.  In 2014, 5280 Magazine recognized Ms. Marks as one of 50 Most Powerful People in Denver.

Ms. Marks is a frequent national speaker regarding medical school economics, health care and clinical practice management, and leadership issues in academic medicine.
