Jon Cargill was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Economic Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2018. He is senior vice president and chief financial officer for Hobby Lobby Stores Inc. Cargill has been in the Hobby Lobby organization for more than 26 years and has been serving as CFO for more than 15 years.
Prior to Hobby Lobby, Cargill worked for the Oklahoma Publishing Co. He is a member of the Financial Executives Council of the National Retail Federation and is active in several non-profit organizations in the Oklahoma City area.
Cargill has degrees from Southern Nazarene University and the University of Central Oklahoma and is a certified public accountant.
