Eric Resnick was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Economic Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2025. Eric is the Co‐Founder and CEO of KSL Capital Partners, LLC (“KSL”), a leading global private equity investment manager specializing in the travel and leisure industry.
KSL is deeply rooted in travel and leisure dating back to its predecessor company, KSL Recreation Corporation, a portfolio company of KKR formed to make investments in hospitality, which Eric joined in 2001 as CFO. Following the sale of KSL Recreation Corporation in 2004, Eric co-founded KSL Resorts, a resort management company, which has managed some of the preeminent resort properties in the US. In 2005, he co-founded KSL Capital Partners with the vision to become the world’s most successful and respected investor in the travel and leisure space. Eric has since been involved in all facets of KSL’s growth and development.
Eric first merged his passion for outdoor adventure and travel with his profession when he joined Vail Resorts in 1996, serving as Vice President, Strategic Planning & Investor Relations, and Treasurer through 2001. Prior to joining Vail Resorts, he served as a consultant for McKinsey & Company.
Eric is a member of the Industry Real Estate Financing Advisory Council, World Travel and Tourism Council, and Real Estate Roundtable. He previously served as the Vice Chairman of US Ski and Snowboard and remains a trustee of its related Foundation. He is also serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Colorado Anschutz Cancer Center. Eric holds a B.A. with distinction in Mathematics and Economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from Cornell University.
