Kansas City Research Data Center: Learn more about the KCRDC, which provides qualified researchers in the Kansas City Fed's Tenth District the opportunity to perform statistical analysis on nonpublic microdata in a secure environment.
Agriculture Finance Updates: Articles summarizing recent developments in agricultural finance and lending as well as the Kansas City Fed's quarterly Survey of Agricultural Credit Conditions.
District Banking Conditions: Resources that monitor banking conditions in our region, including financial performance data across Tenth District commercial banks.
Economic Conditions: The summary of economic conditions provides the context behind a discount rate recommendation. Typically reviewed conditions include the current labor market, inflationary pressures, and industries such as housing.
Kansas City Financial Stress Index: A monthly measure of stress in the U.S. financial system based on 11 financial market variables.
Labor Market Conditions Indicators: Two monthly measures of labor market conditions based on 24 labor market variables. One indicator measures the level of activity in labor markets and the other indicator measures momentum in labor markets.
DIV-LMCI: A version of the Labor Market Conditions Indicators calculated at the Census division level to capture variation in regional labor market conditions.
Kansas City Fed Model-Based Natural Rate of Interest and Natural Unemployment Rate: Monthly estimates of the real interest rate that would achieve price stability and full employment and the unemployment rate consistent with full employment.
Kansas City Fed Policy Rate Uncertainty: A daily measure of market-based uncertainty regarding where short-term U.S. interest rates will be one year in the future.
Kansas City Fed Policy Rate Skew: A daily measure of how financial markets perceive the balance of risks to short-term U.S. interest rates one year in the future.
Risk-On Risk-Off Index Data: This index uses daily data from asset markets in the United States and euro area to measure the variation in global investors’ risk appetites.
Local Data and Trends
Consumer Credit Reports: Summarizes consumer credit trends in the Tenth District and compares conditions to the nation and across states. The reports provide data on consumer debt, loan delinquency rates, personal bankruptcy filings and mortgage delinquencies.
Kansas City Federal Reserve Commercial Real Estate Index: A quarterly indicator of commercial real estate activity in the Tenth District across a variety of commercial property types such as retail properties, hotels, office buildings, multifamily housing, and industrial space.
Regional Economic Databooks: Quarterly economic summaries for the 10th District states including Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. The databooks provide current economic indicators to help monitor trends and allow comparison of past information. These indicators include: Gross Domestic Product (GDP); inflation; employment; employment by industry; county and state unemployment; personal income; home prices; housing indicators; manufacturing; oil, gas and coal production; agriculture; and exports.
LMI Data Books: An assembly of data points with a focus on low- and moderate-income populations and communities. The data books are broken out into segments: demographics, employment and wages, and housing. Each segment has data down to at least the county level, so users can examine data as close to their geographies of interest as possible.
