Jody Shields was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Development Advisory Council on January 1, 2026. Shields serves as executive director of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network, the statewide association dedicated to strengthening, supporting, and advocating for Wyoming’s nonprofit sector. She has worked with the Network for more than a decade. She has more than 30 years of experience in the sector, with a deep commitment to Wyoming’s nonprofit community.
Prior to and alongside her work with the Network, Shields was vice president at The Align Team, a business consulting and services organization that partnered with nonprofits, government, and businesses. Shields currently serves as board president of the Wyoming Society of Association Executives and board treasurer of the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club.
Shields has a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and a master’s in strategic leadership from Black Hills State University. She is a 2023 Leadership Wyoming graduate.
