Biography

Navin Dimond joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Denver Branch Board of Directors in 2020 and served as the Branch chair from 2021-2024.

Mr. Dimond is the founder and chairman of Stonebridge Companies, a privately-owned hospitality firm founded in 1991. Stonebridge owns and operates a diverse portfolio of over 160 hotel properties in the United States and more than 24,000 rooms. Mr. Dimond has received numerous awards for his work in the hospitality industry, including the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award® and the Award of Excellence from the American Asian Hotel Owners Association.

Mr. Dimond currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Denver and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and is a board member and former chairman of the Denver Metro Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Mr. Dimond serves in an advisory role for many organizations, including Washington State University’s College of Engineering and Architecture Executive Leadership Board and Cornell University’s Dean’s Advisory Board for the School of Hotel Administration. Mr. Dimond is a graduate of Washington State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He also earned his Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.
