Kim Russel joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Omaha Branch Board of Directors in 2016 and has been the Branch chair since 2020. Kim is the founder and CEO of Russel Advisors.

Kim has served as a health care CEO for 25 years. She first was appointed as CEO of Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa in 1995 and served as CEO of Bryan Health in Lincoln, Nebraska from 2008-2020. Earlier in her career, Kim was Chief Operating Officer at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.

Kim holds a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University and a master of health administration degree from Washington University.
