Kevin L. Moore is senior vice president in charge of the Supervision and Risk Management Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He was appointed to this position in 2009. In this role, he is responsible for the supervision and regulation of the District's state member banks and bank holding companies, as well as the Bank’s discount window and risk management functions. Kevin is currently the chair of the Federal Reserve System's Community Banking Organizations Management Group. He is also a member of the Federal Reserve System's Supervision Committee and represents the Tenth District on system subcommittees addressing information technology and staff development. Finally, he is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's Management Committee, which is responsible for strategic planning and policy direction. 

Kevin joined the bank in 1982 as an examiner and has spent his entire career in bank supervision. He was appointed to the official staff in 2000 and has held a number of leadership positions in the Supervision and Risk Management Division before assuming his current position. 

He is a native of Harlan, Iowa, and holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri, and an MBA from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri. He is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
