Gisela Shanahan was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Economic Advisory Council on Jan. 1. 2019. She is chief financial officer and executive vice president of global business for the Denver International Airport. Her role encompasses finance, accounting, budget, capital planning and funding, IT, revenue management and business development.

Prior to joining the airport, Ms. Shanahan developed a capital plan for Denver’s Wastewater and Stormwater Enterprise and was chief financial officer of the Colorado Springs (Colo.) Airport.

She is a certified public accountant and chartered global management accountant and has an MBA in finance.
