Don Greenwell was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Development Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2019. Greenwell is president of The Builders’ Association and executive director of the Kansas City Chapter-Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). The Builders’ Association is a regional construction trade association that represents more than 750 commercial contractors, suppliers and service providers that employ more than 25,000 people. The Kansas City Chapter-AGC is part of the largest national construction trade association.

Greenwell is a trustee for a number of employee benefit funds that provide pension benefits, health coverage and training services. He is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefits board and is a past board member of the Kansas City Area Development Council and the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. The Kansas City Business Journal selected him one of its “Power 100” in 2018.

Greenwell has a law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
