David Carpenter was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Economic Advisory Council on Jan. 1, 2018. He is president of American Fidelity Corp., beginning his career there in 1976. American Fidelity Assurance Co. is a supplemental benefits provider serving more than 1 million customers across 49 states with a focus on serving those in the education, public sector, auto retail and healthcare industries.
Carpenter serves or has served on the board of the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Central Oklahoma, Leadership Oklahoma City, the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Library Endowment Trust, the Oklahoma City Boathouse Foundation and the Oklahoma Blood Institute.
Dave has a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of South Dakota. He is a certified public accountant, a FINRA registered principal, a licensed insurance agent and has earned his Fellow, Life Management Institute designation.
