The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is now accepting External Linkapplications for its Community Development Advisory Council (CDAC).

While we welcome all applicants we are especially interested in applicants from Colorado, western Missouri, and Wyoming, with expertise in:

  • community development in Native/Tribal communities,
  • digital inclusion,
  • financial stability/asset building, or
  • labor leadership.

About the CDAC

The CDAC is composed of community, banking, and labor leaders from throughout the Tenth Federal Reserve District, which includes Colorado, Kansas, western Missouri, Nebraska, northern New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. Council members serve three-year terms and are expected to attend two meetings per year, typically held in the spring and fall. Travel expenses are reimbursed by the Kansas City Fed.

The Kansas City Fed established the CDAC in 2001 to provide Bank leaders a deeper understanding of the community development issues having an impact on low- and moderate-income communities. CDAC members provide feedback on the Bank's community development research, programs, and resources. Council members also receive updates on the national and regional economies.
