Recently the Federal Reserve announced expansion of a system-wide program through which subject matter experts make presentations to bankers and their boards of directors.

“Ask the Fed” is the Federal Reserve’s premier webinar program for communicating supervisory and regulatory information to supervised institutions. The recent expansion will allow students and faculty in higher-education banking and finance programs to participate. Webinars in the program feature Fed officials and industry guest speakers who discuss significant banking and regulatory issues and answer questions from attendees.

The program, hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, has specific application and registration requirements for academic institutions.

To request access, institutions are asked to email the following information to questions@askthefed.org: Name of the institution, street address, city, state and the institution’s email domain, such as @uca.edu. Once an institution is added to the platform, its faculty and students will be able to visit External Linkaskthefed.org and register using their academic email addresses.
