Todd is a Senior Vice President and the Division Head for the Treasury Services Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City (FRBKC). Todd has oversight responsibility for the entire FRBKC Treasury Services portfolio, to include the Payment, Debt, and Information Management portfolios, as well as the Financing Modernization program. Additionally, he is a member of the Kansas City Bank’s Management Committee, which is responsible for strategic planning and policy direction, as well as serving as the FRBKC Treasury Director within the Federal Reserve System.

Todd Aadland began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 1995. Among his assignments there, Todd was the Payment Security Strategy Leader responsible for leading the Federal Reserve System’s activities to address fraud risk and advance the safety, security, and resiliency of the payment system. He was also the head of the Federal Reserve’s Secure Payments Task Force, comprised of more than 170 external stakeholders. In addition, he led the business strategy, development, and management of the Federal Reserve Bank’s FedLine access solutions, used by more than 10,000 U.S. financial institutions to transact $4 trillion of payment value daily. He also had direct responsibility for risk management, security, and application development functions.

Todd holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Master of Science degree in electronic commerce from DePaul University. He is also a Certified Information Security Systems Professional and was commissioned by the Federal Reserve System Board of Governors as a bank examiner.
