Bart began his career as a bank examiner in 1991, after graduating from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Illinois, with a degree in Economics.  He started his career with the State of Illinois, then moved to the State of Colorado’s Department of Banking, and finally the Missouri Division of Finance where he has been since 2001.  In 2002, he was promoted from Bank Examiner in the Columbia District to Review Examiner.  In July of 2022, he was promoted to Chief Examiner and has oversight for 200 Missouri State Chartered Banks with approximately $190 Billion in total assets.  He resides in rural Audrain County on a small berry farm with his wife, two daughters, and a herd of walk-up dogs.
