Overview
The Oklahoma Jump$tart Coalition and its members are sponsoring the Jump$tart Your Money Week from April 21-26, 2008, in a statewide effort to raise awareness of financial education issues and opportunities across Oklahoma. The Jump$tart Your Money Week provides an opportunity for local community organizations, government agencies, financial institutions, schools, universities, corporations and others concerned with the financial education skills of Oklahomans to plan and cooperatively market a wide range of educational events during the last week of April.

Purpose
The goal of the Jump$tart Your Money Week is to:

  • Raise awareness among individuals, policymakers, employers, educators and social service organizations of the importance of financial education to Oklahoma's citizens,
  • Provide individuals with high quality financial education events across the state, and
  • Demonstrate the range of financial education services that can be provided to meet the diverse needs of Oklahomans.
