Biography

Rhonda Hooper was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Oklahoma City Branch Board of Directors in 2022.  

In 2006, Ms. Hooper was appointed president and chief executive officer of Jordan Advertising, a multi-faceted marketing and advertising agency founded in 1961. Ms. Hooper has worked in strategic marketing and branding for several national, regional, and local brands in tourism, hospitality, food service, quick service restaurants, insurance, multi-unit retail, energy, apparel, manufacturing, government, and nonprofit.

Ms. Hooper served as chair of the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, the first female to hold the position in 128 years. She currently serves on its executive committee as vice chair of business and economic inclusion and previously as vice chair of economic development and convention and tourism development. She has chaired several governing boards: the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science & Technology, the Oklahoma Business Roundtable, Leadership Oklahoma, the OKC Convention and Visitors Commission, and the Economic Club of Oklahoma. She is currently vice chair of Feed the Children and the OKC Economic Development Trust, and she serves on the OKC Human Rights Commission, the Alliance for Economic Development and the Riversport Foundation boards.

In 2017, she was inducted into the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Hall of Fame. She served as the national chair of the OSU Alumni Association, was a founding board member of the Riata Center for Entrepreneurship, and currently serves on the OSU Foundation Board of Governors.

Ms. Hooper received a bachelor’s degree in journalism, with an emphasis in marketing, from Oklahoma State University.
