July 17, 2017
By Tammy Edwards, Vice President, Community Development

To fill anticipated vacancies on the Kansas City Fed's Community Development Advisory Council (CDAC), applications are being accepted from community, banking and economic development leaders in Nebraska and Wyoming for the 2018 - 2020 term.

The CDAC is comprised of representatives from throughout the Tenth Federal Reserve District: Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Colorado, northern New Mexico and western Missouri. Council members serve a three-year term and are expected to attend two meetings per year, typically held in the spring and fall. Travel expenses are reimbursed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City established the CDAC in 2001 to provide Bank leaders a deeper understanding of the community and economic development issues impacting low- and moderate income communities. CDAC members also receive updates on the national and regional economies and provide feedback on the Bank's community development research, programs and resources. Information on current CDAC members can be found here.

Applications are due 5:00 p.m. CST Tuesday, August 15, 2017 and are available here. The 2018 council members will be announced in January.
