Hear the story of residents coming together to purchase their manufactured home community on the podcast at accesspodcast.org (or subscribe on iTunes or Stitcher).

Episode 2, “Access to Community Ownership,” highlights an important affordable housing solution—manufactured home communities, commonly known as mobile home parks. It features organizations that help residents living in manufactured homes across the country take ownership of their communities to improve economic stability and security.

Launched in December 2016, these new podcasts from community development departments of the Federal Reserve System address social issues like economic mobility, affordable housing, small business development and neighborhood revitalization. Each episode asks community members and organizations across the country about successful programs that help provide access to opportunity for low- and moderate-income individuals and families.

Are you new to podcasts? Podcasts are episodic digital audio programs, like shows you might know through public radio stations. They are a great way to access information or learn new things on the go, and many listeners download them for their commutes, workouts or downtime. You can subscribe to podcasts through apps on your phone (Access is available on iTunes and Stitcher) or listen through a browser (accesspodcast.org).
