Registration is open for Strong Foundations: The Economic Futures of Kids and Communities, March 23-24, 2017, in Washington, D.C. This 10th biennial Federal Reserve System Community Development Research Conference will explore the interplay between the development of kids and their communities.

Evidence shows kids with strong cognitive and social foundations are better-equipped to succeed in life and contribute to society at large. But recognizing that not all children have the same opportunities to grow and develop, how can we set young people on a strong course?

At #CommDev2017, research from multiple disciplines will be presented in a dialogue with policymakers and community practitioners. The conference will spotlight research that can inform questions about key drivers to success, differences across subpopulations, scalable intervention strategies and policy considerations.

Featured speakers include Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen and former Harlem Children’s Zone CEO Geoffrey Canada. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this important cross-sector conversation. Register now to secure your spot.

An early-bird conference rate is available for the first 100 registrants. Please register soon, as previous conferences have sold out and space is limited. Click here for more information and to register.
