Podcast discusses the importance of entrepreneurship

In the podcast, Economic Gardening: A Homegrown Approach to Growth, professionals discuss how to create entrepreneurial communities.

Research shows between 1995 and 2012, small entrepreneurial businesses that employed between 10 and 99 employees represented about 12 percent of U.S. small business; however, the businesses generated almost 35 percent of all new jobs and almost 35 percent of sales in the U.S. economy.

In the podcast, Economic Gardening: A Homegrown Approach to Growth, presented by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Dell Gines, senior community development advisor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, and Todd Johnson, Gallup Corporation, discuss how to create entrepreneurial communities. Also, Johnson introduces the new entrepreneurship assessment designed to identify high potential entrepreneurs.
