The Kansas City Fed is offering free webinars to help stakeholders better understand the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

The Kansas City Fed is offering free webinars to help stakeholders better understand the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

The webinars are designed for lenders, small businesses, workforce professionals and community agencies that assist low- and moderate-income populations. A list of webinars and links to access them online follows:

Intermediate Small Bank (ISB) CRA Examination is an interagency webinar in partnership with the FDIC and the OCC that is designed to provide information to assist soon-to-be or existing ISBs. 

LMI Survey Discussion reviews the Kansas City Fed’s Low and Moderate-Income (LMI) survey, which assesses the economic conditions of LMI populations and provides a resource for lenders to analyze LMI needs in their communities. Esther George, president of the Kansas City Fed, is featured explaining how the survey informs policy discussions.

Workforce Development and the Community Reinvestment Act is designed to assist workforce professionals and lenders learn about promising practices that promote collaboration in developing a skilled workforce. 

Understanding the CRA and how it Might Benefit My Organization is designed for community organizations that want to learn the basics of the CRA and enhance their partnerships with financial institutions. 

Defining Community Development for the CRA is an interagency webinar to assist CRA Officers and nonprofit community leaders get more information on what qualifies for community development under the CRA.
