Ryan Dahlke is a technology specialist in the Center for the Advancement of Data and Research in Economics (CADRE) at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Ryan provides technical support to local researchers in the Tenth District and to hundreds of researchers across the Federal Reserve System using the CADRE high performance cluster and data warehousing services. When he is not assisting researchers, he is focusing on technical documentation, operational intelligence using machine data, and data loss prevention.
Ryan holds a bachelor of arts in sociology with a minor in business from the University of Kansas which included studies of the sociology of technology and social networks. While at the University of Kansas, he worked as a part time system administrator for an advance computing facility and spent a summer in West Africa doing IT education and development. Before starting at the Bank, he was a freelance web developer and a teacher assistant at the Universidad del Norte.
