Christina Kulp is the Data Services Librarian in the Center for the Advancement of Data and Research in Economics (CADRE) at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Her focus is the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of data resources to support the varied research needs of the bank. Her interest in data management best practices and open data initiatives align with the Federal Reserve’s desire to improve public access to important data that drives policies and publications produced at the Bank.
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, Christina was the Life Sciences Librarian at the University of Oklahoma for ten years. Christina holds a bachelor degree in environmental studies from the University of Kansas and a master of library and information science from the University of Washington, Seattle. She has also gained valuable experience as a Civil Affairs officer in the United States Army Reserves.
