Patricia J. Minard
Patricia Minard was elected to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Board of Directors in 2018.
Ms. Minard is president and chief executive officer of Southwest National Bank, which has eight locations in the Wichita area. Ms. Minard joined Twin Lakes National Bank in 1999 as a compliance and loan review officer and assumed the role of president in 2001. In 2004, she led the effort to merge Southwest National and Twin Lakes National Banks.
Ms. Minard previously was a national bank examiner and member of the District Capital Markets Committee for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and a Certified Public Account specializing in banking. She has been a member of the Kansas Bankers Association Bank Management Committee and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council. She currently is a member of the American Bankers Association Accounting Committee.
Ms. Minard is active in the Air Race Classic, a nonprofit organization that promotes the future of women in aviation. She has been a board member and is involved in planning and organizing the annual intercontinental Air Race Classic.
Ms. Minard has a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in accounting from Kansas State University.
