Exploring Oklahoma's Housing Needs: Lawton Forum

July 14, 2016

Learn about the Oklahoma Housing Needs Assessment, gain insights from the findings and expand community connections at a Regional Housing Forum.

About this event

Regional Forums will focus on the recently released Oklahoma Statewide Housing Needs Assessment. This statewide study analyzes the affordable housing needs for low- to moderate-income households by county and addresses disaster resiliency, homelessness, fair housing and residential lead-based paint hazards.

The Lawton Forum will focus on the study's results for the southwest quadrant of Oklahoma. The following counties will be highlighted: Beckham, Caddo, Comanche, Cotton, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Jefferson, Kiowa, Stephens, Tillman, Washita.

The Statewide Housing Needs Assessment was commissioned by the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency, the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and HUD. The Forums are presented by the Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

Other Forums will take place in Alva, Tulsa and Ardmore. For more information visit www.ocahforums.com.
