***///National Survey of Terms of Lending to Farmers///*** This data series includes select variables related to the amount and characteristics of farm loans made by commercial banks. Data are estimates from the Federal Reserve System's Survey of the Terms of Bank Lending to Farmers or FR 2028B. The FR 2028B reporting form collects information on farm loans made by commercial banks during a representative week. Quarterly estimates are expressed as an annual rate and are based on loans made during the first full week of the second month of the quarter. The panel consists of a stratified sample of insured commercial banks that generate a significant volume of farm loans and participation is voluntary. Additional information about the FR 2028B reporting form and the companion report, FR 2028S, is available here: https://www.federalreserve.gov/apps/reportforms/reportdetail.aspx?os5ofIRJDa8v/jn8ki6pKgk/0S81l3btn/nW615AysGdgP12dLo7e8KVBssZfHGf This series was formerly reported in Section A (Tables A.1 to A.6) of what collectively formed the Agricultural Finance Databook. The information reported in sections A, B and C of the Agricultural Finance Databook is now reported in a disaggregated form beginning with the release of data for Q3 Commercial Bank Call Report, Q3 Federal Reserve Surveys of Ag Credit Conditions and Q4 Survey of Terms of Lending to Farmers. Data from each of the three sources is available with each corresponding release and select variables from each of the sections (A, B and C) of the Agricultural Finance Databook have been discontinued. The Tables and Historical Data were also discontinued and archived. Select statistics from Section A of the Agricultural Finance Databook were discontinued.
