Geoff Jolley was appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Development Advisory Council on January 1, 2021. Jolley is the executive director of Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Greater Kansas City. He leads LISC’s local staff, partnerships and community investment efforts, which to date have fueled nearly $1 billion in development activity. LISC focuses on equitable and inclusive solutions for affordable housing, economic development, financial stability, health, and safety.
Prior to joining LISC Greater Kansas City, Jolley spent nearly 14 years as district director and general counsel to Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, whose 5th congressional district spans Kansas City, Missouri, as well as suburban and rural communities to the east.
Jolley received his BA in political science and economics from Emory University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.
