Janel K. Frisch is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. She is responsible for the Bank's financial management, purchasing, and enterprise risk management functions. In addition, she is the administrative officer for the Bank's strategic planning process and facilitates the setting, tracking and reporting of the organization's high priority objectives.


Ms. Frisch joined the Bank in 1993, was appointed to the official staff in 2001 and to her current position in 2003. Before joining the Bank, she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers where she served audit clients representing a broad range of industries. She holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska, an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
