Bill Medley joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 2007 after several years as a reporter for news outlets throughout the Midwest. At the Kansas City Fed, he has worked as a senior writer and editor for several Bank publications and has contributed articles to the Bank’s quarterly magazine, TEN.

Before joining the Kansas City Fed, he covered economics, banking, local development, agriculture and the energy industry for newspapers and magazines in Indiana and Missouri. He has also covered Midwest politics and public finance for a global financial news service. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with degrees in journalism and economics.
