Essays must be accompanied by a Student Entry Form, which requires signatures from the student, the student's parent or guardian, and the student's teacher. Essays will not be returned to the author; they become the property of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. The Bank may edit, publish, disseminate, or otherwise use the essays in its publications and programs. Appropriate citations will be given to the authors.

Typed in a 12-point font
Double-spaced
Contain one-inch margins
Numbered on each page
Contain a reference page listing all documents and media referenced in the essay and
Contain a separate title page
NOTE: The page limit does not include the title page, reference page, data, or graphs.

Any electronic submissions without a signed Student Entry Form will not be eligible for the contest.
