Willem Van Zandweghe joined the Bank as an economist in July 2008.  He received his undergraduate degree from K.U. Leuven in Belgium in 1998 and a Ph.D. in economics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008.  His fields of study are business fluctuations, inflation dynamics, and monetary policy.
