Banking on our Future
Financial responsibility took center stage during a special assembly at Montbello High School in Denver.
More than 400 students learned the basics of money management at the Banking on our Future event in November.
The Kansas City Fed's Denver Branch in partnership with Bank of the West, Operation Hope and the Denver Public Schools hosted the financial awareness workshop. Students learned about banking, checking and savings accounts, credit, investments, and how to plan and save for the future.
Attendees also received finely shredded money and tote bags with the slogan "Learn more to earn more" from the Denver Branch.
