Community Reinvestment Act
Officers from Colorado came together on February 17,
2006 to discuss the following topics; 10 Year Plan to
End Homelessness (presentation by Roxanne White and Jeff
Riley); Colorado Alliance for Microenterprise Initiative
(CAMI) (presentation by Merrily Hill Smith); and other
topics related to the Community Reinvestment Act.

workshop presented at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas
City, April 12, 2005 and the Federal Reserve Bank of
Kansas City, Omaha branch on April 13, 2005. Learn more about cost/benefit
factors related to providing financial education in the
workplace for employers and their employers. A
well-executed program is likely to reduce absenteeism,
increase productivity and an employee’s ability to retire
early or on time. Information includes strategies and
resources for employers.

Representative of Oklahoma's Native American communities came together
on November 9 and 10, 2004, to learn how to design and deliver financial
education programs using "Building
Native Communities: Financial Skills for Families", a
financial literacy curriculum developed specifically for Native American
families.

Creating
and Streamlining the Mortgage Approval Process in Indian Country
Workshops held
on November 3 in Albuquerque and November 4 in Gallup allowed
participants to discover ways to improve the loan and leasehold approval
process, reduce loan delays, and learn how tribes can adopt certain
housing ordinances and implement best practices. |
